Fielders Aramax Wins Again!

Fielders had the pleasure of presenting Tridente Architects with a High Commendation award at the recent Australian Steel Institute’s (ASI) awards night held on Friday 17th August.

Tridente Architects (www.tridente.com.au) was awarded the High Commendation for their striking landmark design at Caritas College in Port Augusta, which utilised Fielders Aramax. The new external student hub is a multipurpose outdoor covered area where sports training and play, community use and student performances can be held both during the day and at night. 

Matt Lloyde, GM – Sales, Marketing & Engineering, stated, ‘The use of Fielders Aramax in this design highlights the versatility of the unique profile. The structural properties of Aramax allowed exceptionally long spans to be achieved without secondary support and therefore reduced the amount of structural steel required and reduced onsite labour to ensure the project was cost effective’.

The High Commendation won for this project adds to the great number of awards already achieved for the Aramax profile.
